MGPA Acquires Shopping Centers

MGPA, an international private equity firm operating in the real estate sector, has acquired two new shopping centers in Poland - Karolinka in the southern city of Opole, and Pogoria in D±browa Górnicza, Silesia province - from DTC Finance BV. It has also obtained an option to buy a third shopping center. The three centers were built and managed by developer Mayland Real Estate.

The company will continue to manage the centers following the deal.

Karolinka is located on the outskirts of Opole and is 70,000 sq m in size. Pogoria is located in the center of D±browa Górnicza and is 36,000 sq m in size. Among the tenants in the two centers are Real, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, KappAhl, Cubus, New Yorker and Reserved.
