Flavors of Japan
The Wilanów Poster Museum Dec. 17 opened an exhibition entitled 365 Days of Happiness: 365 Flavors of Japan. The exhibition comprises 365 illustrations from a special calendar designed by Japanese graphic artists.
Produced together with the Heidelberg company, the calendar takes viewers on a tour of Japanese design. It won the gold medal at the Asian Print Awards 2009 competition. Each of the 365 illustrations was made by a different artist from the JAGDA Association of Japanese Graphic Designers. The works reveal a diversity of styles, techniques and types of paper.
