The Time Art association is holding a charity event called Carols with the Stars (Jasełka z Gwiazdą) for the ninth time. Every year, the organizers invite a well-known Polish singer to sing Christmas carols with children from poor families and orphanages in Warsaw.

In the past, the event featured performers such as Ewa Bem, Majka Jeżowska, Edyta Górniak, Anna Maria Jopek, and Justyna Steczkowska. This year, popular singer Andrzej Piaseczny will perform together with a group of 250 or so children at Polish Radio 3's Agnieszka Osiecka Concert Studio Jan. 14.

"This annual event is a perfect opportunity to show warmth and kindness to our pint-sized visitors and present them with gifts and candy sponsored by the Nestlé company," said Artur Wolski of Time Art.

The carol concert will be preceded by a performance by students from a technical high school in Warsaw.
