Warsaw's Stodoła club will host a concert inspired by an online poll called 20latRP.pl - pochwalmy się! (20 Years of a Free Poland-Something to Be Proud About!). The concert, scheduled for Jan. 21, will feature The Poise Rite band and singer Pati Yang as a special guest.

The 20latRP.pl-pochwalmy się! campaign aimed to highlight Poland's international successes. Between Sept. 12 and Nov. 30 last year, visitors to the campaign's website voted for what they considered the most momentous events of the past two decades in this country.

Inspired by the idea, The Poise Rite will give a special concert during which they will perform new tracks written especially for the occasion.

Hailing from the southeastern city of Rzeszów, The Poise Rite play a blend of guitar rock and indie pop. They are one of the few Polish acts that have performed at the Glastonbury music festival in Britain.

Pati Yang is a Polish vocalist who lives and works in Britain. Her debut album Jaszczurka (The Lizard) came out in 1998 and she has since teamed up with David Holmes on the soundtracks to movies such as Buffalo Soldiers, Out of Sight, Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve and with David Arnold on the soundtrack to the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies.
