It's That Voice
Chris Rea, the British guitarist and singer known for his trademark husky voice, will perform in Warsaw Feb. 16 at the Torwar Arena. The concert is part of a tour promoting Rea's double album Still So Far to Go-The Best of Chris Rea, released at the end of last year.
Rea started his career in music in 1973 playing in a band called Magdalene. He stepped in for David Coverdale, who had left the band to join Deep Purple. After four years, Rea decided to launch a solo career. His debut album, Whatever Happened to Benny Santini?, came out in 1978. Rea has released 22 studio albums and penned a lot of unforgettable hits such as "Fool (If You Think It's Over)," "Working On It" and "Josephine." His albums have sold over 30 million copies worldwide.
