Open Studio

The Studio Theater and Gallery at the Palace of Culture and Science will hold a string of artistic and educational events March 17-21 jointly billed as Open Studio (Studio Otwarte). Special guests of the project will include the Pie¶ń Kozła Theater from Wrocław, nominated for this year's Premio Europa Award, Wojciech Ziemilski with his play Mała narracja (Small Narrative) and a Spanish flamenco troupe called La Kaita. Over the five days, the Studio Theater will stage several plays, including Macbeth directed by Grzegorz Bral and performed by the Pie¶ń Kozła Theater, Mała narracja and a production entitled Obrock, based on work by Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz.

Guided by Krzysztof Żwirblis, the curator of the Studio Gallery, visitors will get to see the gallery and the corridors, nooks and crannies of the theater as well as paintings from the Studio collection.
