The Alan Parsons Project, the band of British musician, producer and sound engineer Alan Parsons, will play March 16 at the Kongresowa Hall in Warsaw.

Parsons made music history as the sound engineer on two legendary albums: The Beatles' Abbey Road and Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. His successful career as a sound engineer was rooted in his childhood musical interests. As a boy, Parsons learned to play the piano and flute and as a teenager, he also mastered the guitar.

In 1975, Parsons teamed up with lyricist Erick Woolfson to form a group of his own called the Alan Parsons Project. Their debut album, Tales of Mystery Imagination inspired by works by Edgar Allan Poe, came out in 1976. Up to 1987, when Woolfson and Parsons parted ways, the group released 10 albums.

In 1993, Parsons released a solo album entitled Try Anything Once and as the Alan Parsons Live Project, he embarked on a world tour, giving fans an opportunity to hear live renditions of the group's greatest hits such as Eye In The Sky, Don't Answer Me, Sooner Or Later and Games People Play. Parsons' latest album, A Valid Path, was released in 2004. During recording sessions, Parsons was joined by Pink Floyd vocalist and guitarist David Gilmour and actor John Cleese.
