9 Senses Media Group Eyeing Expansion

9 Senses Media Group SA, the owner of a nationwide outdoor advertising network, plans to expand by acquiring other outdoor advertising companies and businesses dealing with online advertising. It also plans to launch a newspaper.

"The key to success for us so far has been the market niche of billboards in locations with high customer exposure," said Łukasz Wylęga, CEO of 9 Senses Media Group.

The group will expand to include companies such as Headz Lato, which operates billboards along roads leading to vacation resorts at the seaside and in the mountains; Headz Zima, which is responsible for billboards in popular mountain resorts; Headz Exclusive, which takes care of billboards along roads near large urban centers; Headz Top Cities, which operates billboards on approach roads to the eight largest cities; and Headz Porty Lotnicze, which handles billboards along roads leading to the main airports in the country.

9 Senses Media Group is preparing to issue over zl.20 million worth of shares. Funds raised from the issue will be spent on further development, acquisition of other businesses, and the launch of a newspaper. The share issue will be targeted at individual investors. By 2011, 9 Senses plans to become a publicly traded corporation.
