Following a successful staging in December last year, the concert version of the musical Notre-Dame de Paris, based on the novel by Victor Hugo, will be performed in Warsaw again April 22 at the Kongresowa Hall. The concert will feature soloists Marcin Kołaczkowski as Quasimodo and Edyta Krzemień as Esmeralda.
Audiences at the Kongresowa Hall will hear songs written by Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante and see costumes and sets that will transport them back to 15th-century Paris. The hit single "Belle" from the musical, sung by Garou, was nominated for the Song of the Century, while the English version of "Vivre" ("Live for the One I Love") performed by Céline Dion is a playlist fixture for European radio stations.
The Warsaw show is directed by Ramunas Marcinkus.
