“The outlook for 2010/2011. Exciting, but risky. How, and in what, to invest in 2010?” The Executive Club met at the Sobański Palace in Warsaw in April. Maciej Cieślak from Holon Consultants and Beata Radomska from Cigno Consulting, who presented analysts’ forecasts for 2010, opened the meeting. Radomska stressed that the international economic situation was improving and that investors’ interest in the Polish market was increasing.

The panel discussion comprised Agnieszka Jachowicz, Managing Director of BZWBK AIB TFI S.A., Rafał Abratański, Vice Chairman of the Management Board of IDMSA stockbrokers, Sebastian Buczek, Chairman of the Management Board of Quercus TFI S.A., Ortwin Uwe Jentsch, Managing Director of KBL European Private Bankers S.A., and Prof. Witold Orłowski, Director of the Warsaw University of Technology Business School and economic adviser to PricewaterhouseCoopers. The discussion was moderated by Dariusz Tokarczuk, legal advisor and managing partner at the Warsaw office of law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel. The participants, despite having different opinions on many issues, concurred that the revival of the market gave cause for optimism regarding investment prospects for 2010.
