Historic, Luxurious and Relaxing

Zamek na Skale (Castle on the Rock) in Trzebieszowice near Lądek-Zdrój is a special place in the very heart of the Kłodzko Basin. Built in the 16th century, the castle used to belong to some of the finest Slavic, Prussian, Welsh and French families. Russian czars and Prussian kings would come here for celebrations and relaxation. In the 18th and 19th centuries, when Lądek-Zdrój was a prosperous European health resort, Trzebieszowice was one of the biggest attractions in the area.

Today, the castle’s historic walls welcome everybody who wants to spend some exceptional moments, as the thoroughly renovated Zamek na Skale has been converted into a luxurious hotel. Sitting on a rocky cliff amid a 13-hectare two-level park, the castle is a perfect place for a romantic date or a family trip and a venue for conferences and team-building events.

Zamek na Skale takes special pride in its SPA center, which is tucked away in the basement. Professionally equipped facilities and special treatments based on natural products will satisfy the most demanding guests. Custom-made treatment programs, wine therapy, beer therapy, hydromassage and royal treatments for two are only some of the wide variety of SPA proposals available at Zamek na Skale. Last but not least, the castle is well worth a visit on account of its exquisite cuisine—our chef is a World Champion when it comes to barbecuing.

“This special, magical place has a breathtaking ambiance. Thanks to the castle’s authenticity and intriguing history, you can spend an extraordinary vacation here. We will make sure that your stay is comfortable and hassle-free, so you will certainly want to come again with fond memories of our music concerts, the unique natural scenery of our historic, 13-hectare park, carefree relaxation in the 16th-century SPA, superb cuisine and friendly staff.”
