Poland's trade union Solidarnosc will present the motion to the Constitutional Tribunal on verifying the constitutionality of the pension reform increasing retirement age for both men and women at 67 years on August 29, Solidarnosc officials told Rzeczpospolita daily.

The union will cite The European Social Charter and the provisions of the 102nd Convention of the International Labor Organization in the motion.

Solidarnosc wants to base its argument on provisions saying that the retirement age may be increased above 65 years of age only if the majority of the elderly are physically fit to work.
