Poland’s industrial output growth slows down

Poland's PMI fell to 48.3 pts in August, after a one-off increase in July, and will probably continue to decline as the continuing weakening of the industry will drag it down, economists say.

New orders from abroad are falling at a faster pace than domestic ones because of the recent appreciation of the zloty, Nordea Bank chief economist Piotr Bujak said adding that this heralds a slowdown in industrial output growth in Poland.
