Poland's left-wing party Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) will give up on putting forward lifestyle legislation initiatives and will concentrate on social and economic issues, SLD spokesperson Dariusz Jonski said as quoted by the daily Rzeczpospolita.

The government should return to combating unemployment by such means as public works, incentives for firms for hiring graduates, Jonski said adding that the party would like to introduce a third tax rate for highest earners in the amount of 50%.
