Poland is unlikely to see any changes to either its sovereign rating or its outlook within the few months left to end-2012, Fitch Polska Head Piotr Kowalski told PAP Polish news agency.

Poland's sovereign rating and credit perspective are "solidly stable despite the disappointing Q2 GDP reading" which heralds the expected slowdown, according to Kowalski.

Fitch will now focus on the shape in which the 2013 budget bill is adopted, Kowalski added.

Poland's credit rating issued by Fitch stands at 'A-' with a stable perspective.
