As many as 31% of Poles are afraid of losing a job, with only 49% of employees feeling secure in their jobs, a poll by researcher ARC Rynek i Opinie for daily Gazeta Wyborcza showed.

Only 24% claim to be confident of finding a new job in case of a layoff, while 40% predict difficulties in finding employment.
