The lead of Poland’s ruling Civic Platform (PO) party over the opposition Law and Justice (PiS) has narrowed to just two percentage points, according to a new poll by the ZBS OBOP TNS Polska agency for the Gazeta Wyborcza daily.

The survey, carried out Sept. 7-10, found that support for Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s PO has fallen to 28% from 30% two weeks earlier. Support for the conservative PiS, the biggest opposition party, has risen from 23% to 26%, according to the survey.
