Actors Joanna Jablczynska and Andrzej Nejman open the exhibition
On Sept 8-9 an outdoor exhibition of works selected by the jury of the 6th nationwide social campaign “Colorful Stadiums or School’s First League” was shown in Warsaw’s Old Town.

The Colorful Stadiums program sponsored by Śnieżka paint manufacturer is aimed at encouraging young people to spend their free time together in an active way and at creating better conditions for sports activities.

Every year Śnieżka invites a number of poor schools in rural areas to a competition. School pupils are given a task of creating a piece of art depicting a school football team. The main award in the competition is a professional sports stadium.

This year’s winner was a school from Juchnowiec Górny in north-eastern Poland. Although the works shown in Warsaw did not enter the final ten in the competition the jury was impressed by their creativity, esthetic values and technical precision.

The exhibition in the Old Town was very popular with passers-by who could vote for their favorites. The winners in this “competition’ were two schools – one from Drołtowice (Lower Sliesia) and another one from Sokołów Podlaski in Mazovian province. Both schools will receive materials for school renovation.
