Thrash metal outfit Exodus are playing at Warsaw’s Progresja Club July 1. The band was founded in San Francisco in 1980 by guitarist Gary Holt, drummer Tom Hunting and current Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett.

Rick Hunolt replaced Hammett in 1983. The band officially debuted two years later with their first album, Bonded By Blood, now hailed as an all-time thrash metal classic.

Exodus has shrugged off no end of lineup changes and sabbaticals to notch up nine studio albums. Their latest, Exhibit B: The Human Condition, came out in May.

Exodus came to Poland in 2008 to play at the Metalmania festival. Their current tour will take in Warsaw and Wroc³aw.
