Only ten banks in Poland are offering car loans to retail clients, according to a report by Idea Expert cited by the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.

The trend reflects the fact that Poles are buying fewer and fewer cars, Grzegorz Skowronek of Raiffeisen Bank said.

Keeping a car loan in a bank's offer makes sense only when the institution is in alliance with a car dealer, according to Skowronek.
