Jaroslaw Gowin
Polish Justice Minister Jaroslaw Gowin will be subject to scrutiny from the prosecutor's office on suspicion of his breaking the law by accessing the files the CEO of an investment institution Amber Gold under investigation.

Left-wing opposition party Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) has notified the prosecution of the case.

Earlier, the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported that Gowin had no legal grounds to demand the files.

In response to the charges of the paper, the minister insisted that he acted in accordance with the law, while the ministry issued a special statement specifying the legal grounds for Gowin's actions.
