Power group Enea will consider participating in IPO of state energy firm Energa planned for next year as the group is interested in energy sector assets, CEO Maciej Owczarek told PAP Polish news agency.

"We are interested in all assets related to energy, to generation distribution or sale," Owczarek said. "Energa is such a company so we will certainly analyze such a scenario."

Poland's Treasury previously said Energa could debut on the stock exchange in 2013.
