Echo Investment, a developer based in the central-southern city of Kielce, is constructing another luxury apartment building in Warsaw. The building, called Klimt House, is located in the center of the Stary Mokotów neighborhood, the old part of the Mokotów district, on Kazimierzowska street. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of this year.

Sylwia Pajdo, who manages the developer’s sales office in Warsaw, says Klimt House is a prestigious apartment building designed for people who appreciate living comfort and active leisure and at the same time would like to have easy access to full urban infrastructure: culture, education and entertainment.

Klimt House’s location makes the project even more attractive to customers because Mokotów is one of the best developed districts of Warsaw. There are schools, shops, banks, cultural institutions, offices and public institutions in the vicinity of the apartment building as well as many parks, including Pole Mokotowskie, and a large complex of green areas. A metro station is located nearby, providing excellent connections to other parts of the city.

Klimt House will fill a space between two prewar buildings. “The design of the Klimt House building has been strongly inspired by the form of the neighboring buildings,” Paweł Pyłka, the architect managing the project, says. “The carefully finished interiors of the lobby with a reception area underline the original style of the project.”

The name of the building and its interiors are inspired by Gustav Klimt, a famous member of the Vienna Secession movement, and his art. Klimt’s paintings are an expression of unrestrained creative freedom. Klimt-inspired touches can be found in the building’s common areas.

According to the Warsaw-based architectural practice M±ka Sojka Architekci, which is responsible for the Klimt House design, “The apartment building has a simple form while the use of expensive finishing materials evokes what is so fascinating in Klimt’s art—a combination of sensuality, elegance and color.”

The building will house 60 luxury air-conditioned single- and split-level apartments with spaces ranging from 41 sq m to 190 sq m. Each apartment will have a balcony, recessed balcony or terrace. Attractive split-level penthouse apartments will occupy the two upper stories of the building. Some of the living rooms will have open-space mezzanines allowing freedom in space design.

Additionally, the occupants of this luxury building will have an opportunity to benefit from a recreation complex on the ground floor. It will be composed of fitness and relaxation areas providing modern exercise equipment and a Finnish sauna.

The elegant finish to the building complements the high standards of the apartments. A reception area providing a comfortable place for waiting guests will be the central part of the lobby. An additional advantage of the building will be an inner courtyard with greenery, architectural features and a playground for children. The occupants of the building will also have 80 parking spaces in an underground garage.

Klimt House will be secure. It will be equipped with modern surveillance and access control systems. A fence around the whole property and a remotely controlled entrance gate will add to the security of the building. A video doorphone system to be installed at the main entrance to the property will also be a convenient feature. Additionally, Klimt House will fully meet the needs of disabled people.

The building has been designed by M±ka Sojka Architekci and the general contractor is Warsaw’s Modzelewski & Rodek company. The project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.

Klimt House is a project by Echo Investment in Warsaw. Among the company’s earlier residential projects in the city is the award-winning Mondrian House in Mokotów as well as the Flower House, Melody House, Kirkor, the Nalewki and Ateńska apartment buildings, the Zeusa and Inflancka estates, the Zwycięzców residential complex, and the Babka Tower apartment and office building. Melody House and the Inflancka estate were named the best multi-family buildings in 1998-1999 and 2004 respectively.
