Bike Ride Follows Battle Trail
August 2, 2010
Article's tools:

The Uprising Mass Movement is an annual bike ride jointly organized by the Warsaw Uprising Museum and Warsaw Critical Mass to pay tribute to the Warsaw Uprising.

The Uprising Mass Movement 2010 will be held on Aug. 7 and will follow the trail of battles fought by the Home Army’s Żywiciel Group, which heroically defended the district of Żoliborz from the moment the Warsaw Uprising broke out until it had almost ended. Anyone wanting to take part in this year’s event has until 3 p.m. on Aug. 6 to register online at www.1944.pl/masa. The organizers advise registering as early as possible as there are only 2,000 places available and these will be allocated according to the order of registration. Everyone who registers will receive an Uprising Mass Movement 2010 T-shirt.

Registrations will be confirmed and T-shirts handed out on the day (Aug. 7) from 2 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. The event starts at the corner of Przyokopowa St. and Prosta St. at 5 p.m.
