The Warsaw Uprising Museum will be staging a special outdoor concert in Park Wolności (Freedom Park in English) on the grounds of the Museum at 79 Grzybowska St. on July 30. The concert is being held as part of the We Remember ‘44 series and will be promoting the museum’s album www.wawa2010.pl. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. The idea behind the album is to get people to reflect on Warsaw’s identity and the events that have forged its individuality and character over the years through new sounds and novel interpretations of familiar and famous songs about the city.

Charismatic singer, songwriter and actor Karolina Cicha has rearranged 16 such works. Cicha called on several popular singers representing different generations, styles and musical sensibilities to help out. Guest instrumentalists were also brought in.
Admission to the concert is free.
