The Da Vinci brand is famous for its custom-made, perfectly cut and stitched shirts and suits. For some years the company has offered a service in which the brand’s representative visits the customer with fabric samples, takes their measurements and then together they choose the fabrics, styles and accessories. New fabric patterns and new shirt styles are launched every season. Clients can choose them from a catalogue published twice a year, featuring men’s and women’s collections as well as accessories. The company’s range was recently expanded to include made-to-measure suits, with 4,000 kinds of fabric to choose from. It takes four weeks to make a suit. Prices start at zl.4,500.

Showroom in Warsaw
With the most discerning clients in mind, in the spring of 2009 the company opened a showroom in Warsaw on 44 Szucha Avenue. After making an appointment, clients can come to this discreetly marked shop and with the advice of a stylist, a unique service offered by the company, choose the style of their shirt and the fabric.

Meeting the stylist is an opportunity to learn about the right way to choose your outfit to match the occasion (business, evening, weekend wear) and your shape, and how to combine colors, textures and accessories. This kind of individual consultation helps clients find out about new trends in men’s wear and how to develop their own style. A tailor is also present to take the customer’s measurements.

Da Vinci also offers unique patterns of six-fold ties and cufflinks; the latter are inlaid with mother-of-pearl or semiprecious stones. The company also offers luxury Spanish shoes from Cordovan leather.

The Da Vinci range includes 400 designs, more than 42 collar models and 12 types of cuff. The fabrics are purchased from the best Italian weaving mills with a centuries-old tradition. The uniqueness of the shirts is highlighted by meticulous details such as stitch density (8-9 stitches per cm) and buttons made from seashells with a lovely pearly shine. Da Vinci adjusts its range to changing trends—for example when large men’s watches became fashionable, the company started sewing bigger cuffs so that the watches could slide easily under the fabric. Clients can order an individual monogram embroidered on all their shirts. A tailor-made shirt takes about three weeks to make; prices start at zl.499 and depend mainly on the fabric quality.

Special collection
The company’s special range includes tuxedo, tailcoat and wedding shirts. For each of these types, clients can choose the type of fabric, inset and collar and cuff style. This collection is supplemented by tailcoat vests, belts, bow ties, buttons and cufflinks. Bow ties come in two options: ready-tied and self-tie, and both are made of silk. The company also fulfills unusual orders from designs supplied by customers.

Da Vinci is one of only a few companies from which customers can order a a tailcoat or smoking jacket.
