Hubner Theater Revamped
Warsaw’s Zygmunt Hubner Powszechny Theater has been extended by 700 sq m, refurbished and given its first embellishment inside and out in 35 years. The extended theater now has a larger main entrance and a separate entrance to the smallest stage.
The main theater stage has been enlarged and the seating increased from 470 to 600 places. The Mała Scena (Small Stage) has been completely rebuilt and renamed Scena 200 in reference to the number of seats. Scena 200 now has the latest lighting and acoustic equipment and the space can be reconfigured ad hoc to create any desired relationship between cast and audience.
The renovation includes access for the disabled with special approaches and elevators.
