Poland will spend some PLN 15 billion on road construction in 2013, the daily Rzeczpospolita wrote citing data from road authority GDDKiA and own calculations.

It is hard to say whether the PLN 15 billion is a high amount or not, as it is unclear what part of the spending will be constituted by projects that will not have been finished this year, CEO of builder Budimex Dariusz Blocher said.

Poland will fall short of spending PLN 29 billion for road construction this year by some PLN 4 billion, the daily Rzeczpospolita wrote.
