The “Singer’s Warsaw” Jewish Culture Festival, organized by the Shalom Foundation, will take place in Warsaw for the seventh time Aug. 28-Sept. 5. This year, the festival will start with a tribute to people who helped save Jews during the Holocaust.

The honorary committee of the festival includes European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek, Warsaw Mayor Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, Israel’s ambassador to Poland Zvi Rav-Ner and Prof. Władysław Bartoszewski, a special advisor to Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

The festival will feature productions shown at Warsaw’s Jewish Theater, including Song of Songs and Fiddler on the Roof.
