Theater festival for young audience

The 16th edition of Korczak International Theater Festival, a review of a variety of theatrical forms used in theatre for young audience is being held in Warsaw on Oct 6-13.

The festival has been organized since 1994 and is the biggest event of this kind in Poland.

Among professional theatres from all over the worlds are those which apply traditional theatre techniques and also innovative groups which implement modern solutions into their performances. Performances are selected in such a way as there is no language barrier for the audience.

As every year the festival deals with topics that are important to young audience. This year particular focus is put on tolerance, friendship, responsibility and fear. The festival audience will see stories of children from orphanages, prison inmates, the disabled and homeless.
