State agency for industrial development (ARP) has filed the most interesting offer for the acquisition of non-core units belonging to a troubled builder Polimex-Mostostal, the daily Puls Biznesu reports.
The ARP has recently granted Polimex Mostostal a PLN 45 million loan.
Polimex said late Thursday that it received bindings bids for two of its units.

The company will take into account not only the offered price but also how soon payment for the assets can be made, Polimex's representative Robert Kosmal said. The sale of the two units should be concluded within a few weeks, he added.

According to a debt restructuring plan presented to creditors at end-August, Polimex expects to garner over PLN 300 million on disposal of non-operating assets, such as stakes in select subsidiaries and real estate properties.
