PGE EJ, a unit of power group PGE tasked with building Poland's first nuclear power plant, will conclude the initial round of talks with potential contractors in Q1 2013, hoping to finalize the entire tender procedure in 2015, PGE EJ deputy CEO Zdzislaw Gawlik said during an industry forum.

Gawlik added that invitations have been sent to 13 potential entities "that could be consortium leaders or participants" and that the list was not closed.

Preliminary talks are to be concluded by end-March 2013 and followed by a competitive dialogue stage, to be conducted in consultation with the European Commission, Gawlik said.

The entire tender procedure should be completed in 2015.
