The fourth Five Flavors (Pięć Smaków) Film Festival will be held in Warsaw from Oct. 26 to Nov. 1. This year’s program features films from Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and, for the first time, Malaysia. The spotlight, however, is going to be on Singaporean film. There is going to be a special review of contemporary Korean cinema this year entitled Taste of Korea and opening with Kim Ki-duk’s Dream.

The festival will be accompanied by an array of cultural events, as is the case every year. There will also be a series of meetings where Polish travelers talk about their expeditions to Asia and show some of the photographs they took there.

This year’s festival has been organized in conjunction with the Asian Hot Shots Berlin festival of Asian cinema. More information is available on the festival website at www.piecsmakow.pl
