Poland to invest up to 1.6bn annually in anti-missile defense

Polish army plans to spend PLN 0.9 bln-1.6 billion annually for ballistic missile defense starting 2014 depending on the budget situation, the head of Poland's national security bureau BBN Stanislaw Koziej said as cited by the daily Rzeczpospolita.

Polish investment in the anti-missile defense will be financed thanks to special bill, which will guarantee the amount corresponding to the growth of annual defense budget.
