Limp Bizkit Land in Warsaw
October 1, 2010
Article's tools:

American rapcore/nu metal band Limp Bizkit will be appearing at Warsaw’s Stodoła Club Oct. 9.

Limp Bizkit was formed by Singer Fred Durst, bass player Sam Rivers and drummer John Otto in 1994. DJ Lethal (from House of Pain) and guitarist Wes Borland completed the lineup. The band’s first album, Three Dollar Bill, Y’All$ (1997), went platinum, selling one-and-a-half million copies in the U.S. alone, and their next two albums, Significant Other (1999) and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water (2000), followed suit, consolidating their position on the music scene.

Crisis hit when Wes Borland left in 2001. Mike Smith replaced him on the band’s next album, Results May Vary (2003), but neither fans nor critics took a shine to him. Borland rejoined in 2004 and the EP The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) was released the following year. Limp Bizkit was put on hold for the next three years while Wes Borland concentrated on his side project, Black Light Burns.

The reformation of the original Limp Bizkit lineup was officially announced in 2009. The band is currently working on new material, with the album Gold Cobra scheduled for release by the end of the year.
