PGE power firm may secure a positive decision on the connection of 1050 MW capacity of its off-shore wind farms on the Baltic Sea to the power grid from the grid operator PSE Operator, the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna wrote citing own findings.

The decision may be bad news for fuel firm PKN Orlen, which also wanted to secure a connection of its planned farms to the power grid, whose capacity is limited, the daily wrote.

PSE Operator may allow only 2300 MW in off-shore farms by 2025, while Jan Kulczyk's Polenergia has already secured a connection to the grid of 1200 MW in off-shore wind farms, the daily wrote.
