Six entities, including four largest mobile telephony operators: TPSA, PTC, Polkomtel, and P4, filed offers in the tender for five 1800 MHz band frequencies, Poland's telecom market operator UKE said on its website.

The other two entities were operators Sferia and EmiTel.
UKE announced the tender for 1800 MHz frequencies on August 20, setting competition protection as the most important criterion in the process.

The regulator will tender five frequency bands for the period to end-2027. Each of the five frequency bundles consists of 25 duplex radio channels. The frequencies might be used for voice services and for data transmission.
