Jacek Rostowski
The Emerging Markets website has named Poland’s Jacek Rostowski as Finance Minister of the Year for Emerging Europe 2012.

“Poland is the one EU country to have escaped recession since the financial crisis first hit and has continued to outperform its neighbours since the sovereign debt crisis hit the eurozone,” Emerging Markets said.

It added: “Many analysts believe that the Polish finance minister, Jacek Rostowski, can take credit for the country’s outperformance.”

Emerging Markets is part of Euromoney Institutional Investor plc, one of the largest and most respected providers of financial information worldwide.
