The Garden of Hope Psycho-Oncology Foundation, based at 158 Puławska St. in Warsaw is holding an annual fundraising auction Nov. 25. called “Seed of Art—Garden of Hope.”

The proceeds will be spent on an integrated education and psychotherapy program. The auction will take place at the National Museum in Warsaw, 3 Jerozolimskie Ave. For sale will be over 100 works of art and collector’s items donated by artists in Poland and abroad.

The goal of the campaign is to enable cancer patients and their families to obtain various forms of help provided by the foundation free of charge.

As each year, the event will be hosted by the foundation’s friends Dorota Welman, a TV journalist, and Piotr Lengiewicz, the president of the Rempex Auction House. The starting price of each item is zl.100.

Proceeds from the previous auctions went to cancer patients covered by a psycho-oncology aid program. So far a total 900 people have benefited from that and other programs. During the fourth auction last year, a total 163 items were sold, raising over zl.100,000.
