Poland to sell only minority stake in Energa next year - Treasury Ministry

Poland’s Treasury is unlikely to sell its entire stake in state-owned power firm Energa in 2013, deputy Treasury Minister Pawel Tamborski told reporters on Friday.

"A complete exit from Energa in 2013 doesn't seem possible," Tamborski said.

The Treasury plans to sell only a minority stake in Energa on the WSE next year, and wants to retain a majority stake with a view to potentially selling the firm to a strategic investor, Tamborski said on October 23. Poland eventually plans to exit Energa completely, in line with its privatization plan, the official said back then.
