Some 56% of Poles make no savings and spend their entire income on current consumption, the daily Gazeta Wyborcza wrote citing a report by Citi Handlowy's Kronenberg foundation.

Some 33% of the surveyed set aside some amounts from time to time, while only 8% of Poles save a fixed amount each month, the survey showed.
