Strasbourg Tribunal condemns Poland in abortion rape case

Poland broke the human rights convention three times by forbidding a 14-year old raped girl to carry out an abortion in 2008, the European Human Rights Tribunal in Strasbourg concluded Tuesday.

The Tribunal allotted EUR 45,000 compensation to the victim and EUR 16,000 reimbursement of procedural costs.
