Switzerland’s legendary industrial rockers The Young Gods are appearing at the Progresja Club in Warsaw Feb. 22.

Singer Franz Treichler formed the group, which takes its name from a Swans EP, in 1985. Every record the Young Gods have made has gone on to become a milestone in the history of easy listening rock. Not only that, each is radically different from the others in terms of sound.

The Young Gods weave together elements of rock, industrial, baroque and classical, ambient and electronica. This musical mixing and matching serves to unite listeners of different generations and tastes. The group acknowledges David Bowie, Mike Patton, Nine Inch Nails and Sepultura as sources of inspiration. The Young Gods are touring to promote their 13th album Everybody Knows, which came out last year.
