Mediacap SA, a marketing communications company listed on the NewConnect market, has rearranged its supervisory board by appointing Piotr Kuc and Filip Friedmann as members.

The company has thus taken another step toward expanding its supervisory board to include independent members. At present, there two independent members, Hubert Janiszewski and Piotr Kuc. Janiszewski is considered to be one of the most experienced managers on Poland’s capital market. He is vice-president of the supervisory board of Deutsche Bank Polska SA and also presides over the supervisory boards of DB Securities SA, Złomrex SA and Elstar Oils SA.

Kuc is a marketing and management expert with vast experience on the international market. After 1998, he was the CEO/general manager of Alima-Gerber, Novartis Consumer Health and Coty. Brands he has managed so far include Marlboro, L&M, Gerber, Wasa, Isostar, Frugo, Adidas, Rimmel and Calvin Klein.

At present, the Mediacap supervisory board consists of Janiszewski (chairman), Jacek Welc (vice-chairman), Kuc, Friedmann and Marek Żołędziowski.

“Our goal is to select the best independent professionals whose contribution to the work of the supervisory board will bring tangible benefits for the company, its image and all the shareholders,” said Jacek Olechowski, chairman of Mediacap’s management board.
