Burgers for Gourmets

The menu at the Blue Cactus Restaurant and the Iguana Lounge Club now offers Gourmet Burgers served with fresh and original ingredients.

Made of hand-ground beef, turkey or fresh grated vegetables, the burgers are grilled and then served with dry-cured Italian prosciutto ham, crispy oyster mushrooms, slices of pastrami, Roquefort cheese and smoked bacon. Each burger comes with mayonnaise sauce with basil pesto, horseradish sauce or spicy chipotle ketchup and is served in a bran bun. The burgers come in large and small sizes.

Also new on the menu are thickly cut fries in several flavors, including ordinary with salt and homemade ketchup and fries sprinkled with Grana Padano cheese and served with cream and truffle dip.

The menu retains the classic Blue Cactus starters and dishes which have for years been a hit with the patrons. Such staple dishes include seven variations of mini tacos, each set consisting of three small wheat tortillas with different toppings. You can order the mini tacos with shrimp, tilapia, beef steak and pork loins sprinkled with salt and pepper. Depending on the main ingredient, they come with grilled pineapple, red pepper salsa, mayonnaise dressing with chipotle and avocado. Vegetarian variations are also available.

Some fresh ideas are also evident in the Guacamole and Salsa section of the menu, including grilled tomatoes, Habanero and Serrano peppers, caramelized red onions, mango, pineapple and chipotles.

The desserts section and children’s menu remain unchanged.

The seasonal menu insert will be changed every month as usual.
