Those looking for land in connection with their plans to build a shopping center, factory or housing estate should contact the Agricultural Property Agency (ANR), which has Poland’s largest and most diversified range of properties for sale.

The ANR has around 100,000 hectares of land for sale, designated for various projects. These include large plots of land with good access and suited for greenfield projects, technology parks, logistics centers and shopping malls.

Our properties boast attractive locations. Around 40,000 hectares of the land is located within city and town limits. Some of the lots are in rapidly developing industrial districts of cities such as Warsaw, Wroc³aw, Poznañ and Katowice.

Most of the available properties are close to major roads, freeways and airports. So far, international corporations as Opel, Toyota, Sharp, LG, Michelin, Electrolux, Auchan, Jerónimo Martins, Ikea, Viessmann have taken advantage of the investment opportunities offered by the Agricultural Property Agency.

Since 2009, we have been working closely with the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) to build a National Repository of Real Estate for Development (KZNI). The repository encompasses large properties each of which exceeds 50 hectares in area and is located in different parts of Poland. The properties may be developed for industrial use. The repository thus helps investors find the most attractive locations faster.

I am confident that properties offered by our Agency will also be of interest to those who like historic buildings, manors, palaces and beautiful parks. Historic sites are an attractive form of investment that is popular around the world. Potential investors need to invest in the redevelopment of such property. The Agricultural Property Agency encourages investors to buy historic properties by offering them a 50 percent discount on the price they bid in exchange for undertaking to carry out restoration work.

The basic form of sale of state-owned properties is through a bidding process open to individuals and businesses agreeing to make a deposit and appear at a designated place. For more information on the bidding procedures go to the Agricultural Property Agency’s website at www.anr.gov.pl
I believe that the properties we are offering in this issue of The Warsaw Voice will encourage you to check out the full range that the Agricultural Property Agency has to offer. Let me assure you that you will make the right choice with us.

Allow me to take this opportunity to encourage you to visit our stand at the MIPIM 2011 international real estate exhibition in Cannes (stand no. LR2.01).
