Poland needs a debate on the conditions that have to be met in order to ensure that entering the euro zone is a safe and beneficial process, Finance Minister Jacek Rostowski told reporters on Friday.

"We need a debate on the conditions which will allow us to safely enter the euro zone," Rostowski said. "The key element is to make ourselves aware what we need to do in order to ensure that the entry to the euro zone is beneficial."

Poland still has 'a lot to do' regarding the euro zone entry, the minister said.
