Poland's unemployment surges to 13.3pct at end-Dec.

Poland's unemployment rate likely edged up to some 13.3% at the end of December 2012 from 12.9% in November, Labor Ministry said in a report, citing its estimates.
The number of employed at the end of December amounted to 2.138 million, up by 79,500 from end-November, the ministry's statement showed. In the entire year the number of unemployed rose by 154,900 persons.
The unemployment rate edged up in all of Poland's regions.
The number of vacancies posted in job agencies measured 48,700, down by 18,800 from October, the ministry said.
Employers filed 36,300 job offers, down by 12,700 from last month.
In late December, Labor Minister Kosiniak Kamysz said that Poland's unemployment rate would likely edge up by some 0.2-0.4% month on month by the end of December and slightly exceed 13%.
