Poland's regional and transport ministers will meet in late January with European Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn to seek ways to increase the ceiling of EU funding for the Polish railway transport, Regional Minister Elzbieta Bienkowska said on Thursday.

At present the ceiling stands at 59% in case of railway transport investments made by local governments and at 70% when they are undertaken by the rail companies.
