Poland’s top bank PKO BP received a EUR 150 million loan from the European Investment Bank for financing small and medium-scale projects primarily in the public sector in Poland, EIB said in a press statement.

The means will be used "mostly in the field of environmental protection, energy savings, health and education infrastructure, industry and services in Poland," with local authorities and regions being the chief final beneficiaries of EIB support, the statement reads.

The loan is the third granted to PKO BP group, which brings the total amount of EIB loans to PKO BP to EUR 466 million, the bank said.
